Cooking is one of the hobbies that a player unlocks as they progress in Heartopia. There are numerous cooking recipes to learn and cook. Food items are the most valuable items to sell to earn gold quickly in Heartopia. However, unlike other cozy games, like Disney Dreamlight Valley, you cannot guess the recipe by adding ingredients; you have to learn the recipe to cook it. It is crucial to learn how to unlock the new recipes to make more profit. In this guide, we will tell you all the cooking recipes available in Heartopia and how to unlock them.
The Cooking hobby becomes available at DG Level 6. This opens the opportunity to use the Hobby Expansion Ticket at one of the mentors to acquire the hobby. You must go to Massimo and use the ticket to learn the Cooking hobby. Once done, Massimo will give you a brief introduction on how to cook meals using the stove.
All cooking recipes in Heartopia require crops, fish, and resources, such as mushrooms, fruits, etc. You can grow crops in your garden, catch fish from water bodies, and gather resources throughout Heartopia. Additionally, Massimo also sells various ingredients. In Heartopia, you cook all meals on the Stove. You can place a stove in your house or use the stove beside Massimo to cook.
Click on the cooking icon at the stove to open the recipes menu. Here, you need to select the recipe you wish to cook. After that, your character will place a pot with ingredients on the stove. A timer will start for the meal to be ready. Once the timer is over, you can collect the food from the stove. However, during the timer, a QTE will pop up. You must interact with the stirring QTE in time to manage the heat and not burn the meal. If you fail the QTE, you will get the Bizarre Food or Bizarre Drink, depending on what you are making. Fortunately, the burned meal will still get you the discovery points for the new recipes.
There are around 60 cooking recipes in Heartopia to unlock and cook. Players will learn the basic recipes upon unlocking the hobby, and the newer recipes by upgrading the cooking hobby.
