Rebirthing in Slime RNG works similarly to other games in the sense that you unlock a Luck buff in exchange for resetting your progress. When you Rebirth, you lose all the areas you’ve unlocked, your Coins, and your Goop. But with the increased Luck, you’ll easily unlock all the areas again.
Losing progress doesn’t sound great, but it’s worth it to increase your Luck stat. After all, your Luck determines how likely you are to get the strongest slimes for your team. In no time, you’ll be back to where you were, gathering more Goop for another Rebirth. It’s the cycle of Slime RNG.
To Rebirth, you need to collect Goop. You can only get Goop once you’ve unlocked the ability with 10 million Coins via the upgrades screen. After this, you can start passively earning Goop, which is currently the only required currency to Rebirth. As you progress, you can spend more Coins to unlock Goop upgrades, such as higher drop chances, Goop Flood, and Goop Drip.
Luckily, you don’t lose your Slimes, upgrades, or any of the items, such as Potions, in your inventory when you Rebirth. The first Rebirth level requires a total of 500 Goop, increasing your Luck stat from 1x to 1.82x.

Goop is dropped by a variety of enemies, but it seems to have a higher chance once you’re in the later areas. Plus, the higher your Luck stat, the more likely you are to get Goop, which then means you can Rebirth more often.
After a while, you’ll notice that you aren’t getting as much Goop as you were if you remain in the same area. This is when you should teleport somewhere else. Using Potions to increase your Luck further is also a good option when trying to gather Goop, most notably the Luck Boost and Ultra Luck Boost potions.
Every single upgrade in Slime RNG costs Coins. The better the upgrade, the more Coins it costs. You get Coins by defeating enemies, which can only be done by equipping the best Slimes in your backpack. You can purchase additional slots for your team on the Upgrades screen, which makes it easier to defeat enemies much faster.
Make sure you’re always selecting the ‘Equip Best’ button when checking your team. This is a quick way to ensure your team is the best it can be at that current time. The more areas you unlock, the trickier the enemies are to defeat.
The main way to get Coins is by defeating enemy slimes. With Upgrades, you can unlock the ability for more enemies to spawn, which increases the amount of Coins you get per area. There’s also Coin Income upgrades, which can be purchased with, you guessed it, Coins. Don’t forget about Currency Boost Potions, which provide a temporary boost to the amount of Coins you get.
