Nullscape Curse Tier List – Easiest Curses to Counter

If you’re struggling to choose between the various Curses, my Nullscape Curse Tier List can make it a little easier. By knowing which Curses are the easiest to deal with in Nullscape, you can increase your chances of completing levels.

Nullscape Curse Tier List

The easiest Curses to counter in Nullscape, and the most difficult.

S Tier

  • LAP 2
    • Appears from level 8
    • How it Works:
      • Collapse is slower
      • Before the Beacon spawns, you can spawn the Altar of Purgatory with the Altar of Echo (For more info, I’ve written a Nullscape Altars guide)
        • Golden Gifts gathered from the Altar of Purgatory increase by 1.33x
      • The Beacon appears after 40% of the Golden Gifts have been picked up, unless all the tiles disappear
  • Mart Infection
    • Exclusive to Mart
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Temporary Marts appear around the Beacon whenever a player is defeated

A Tier

  • Nothing?
    • Appears from level 8
    • How it Works:
      • Shop items are 15% cheaper
      • Every 5 levels, an additional entity spawns
  • Bigger Tripmines
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • Tripmines are 10% larger
  • Jackpot
    • Appears from level 12
    • How it Works:
      • The Altar of Chance spawns at the start of the level
  • Concussion
    • Exclusive to Bell
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • You cannot jump for 7 seconds after ringing the Bell
  • Closer Husk
    • Exclusive to Husk
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Husks spawn faster after the cue
  • Taller Husk
    • Exclusive to Husk
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Husks are 50% taller
  • Bloodier Meat
    • Exclusive to Flesh
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • Flesh can infect tiles at a greater range
  • Accurate Telefragger
    • Exclusive to Telefragger
    • Appears from level ?
    • How it Works:
      • The chance of it teleporting to a player depends on their momentum
  • Blade Carousel
    • Exclusive to Voidbreaker
    • Appears from level ?
    • How it Works:
      • Its swords spin around players before striking
  • Deadly Melody
    • Exclusive to Cadence
    • Appears from level ?
    • How it Works:
      • Whenever a player is defeated, an instrument spawns
  • Blueprint: Cross Beams
    • Exclusive to Scrapmaw
    • Appears from level ?
    • How it Works:
      • An extra row of lasers can be summoned

B Tier

  • High Roller
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • The Altar of Chance has different effects
  • Tweaked Odds
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • When using the Altar of Chance, you are inflicted with Positive and Negative effects
  • Fake Count
    • Appears from level 8
    • How it Works:
      • You cannot see the number of Gifts you’ve picked up
  • Barotrauma
    • Appears from level 15
    • How it Works:
      • Seamines are 20% larger
      • The knockback from Seamines is stronger
  • Minefield
    • Appears from level 10
    • How it Works:
      • There are 50% more Seamines
  • Fragile Gifts
    • Appears from level 8
    • How it Works:
      • Collapse is much faster
      • You obtain 0.75x more Golden Gifts
  • Mart Slide
    • Exclusive to Mart
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Mart’s speed passively increases
  • Bigger Marts
    • Exclusive to Mart
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Marts are 1.5x larger
  • Scorched Earth
    • Exclusive to ICBM
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • After exploding, a pool of fire is left behind, which moves the player forward for 7 seconds upon contact
  • Further Husk
    • Exclusive to Husk
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Husks are 1.6 seconds behind players
  • Random Husk
    • Exclusive to Husk
    • Appears from level 15
    • How it Works:
      • The distance between a player and a Husk randomly increases and decreases
  • Springloaded
    • Exclusive to Springer
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • After Springer jumps, a shockwave is summoned
  • Resonating Shockwaves
    • Exclusive to Springer
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • Getting hit by a shockwave inflicts players with Overtuned, which instantly defeats them when they ring the Bell
  • Blighted Jump Pads
    • Exclusive to Flesh
    • Appears from level ?
    • How it Works:
      • Grapple Points and Jump Pads can be infected
  • Ambush
    • Exclusive to Telefragger
    • Appears from level 8
    • How it Works:
      • There is a 20% chance of it spawning behind a player instead of in front of them
        • If it spawns behind a player, it is 2x faster for 1.5 seconds
  • Burning Banquet
    • Exclusive to Kolona
    • Appears from level ?
    • How it Works:
      • When Kolona spawns, so too does Razorbloom

C Tier

  • Random Spawn
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Players and entities are teleported to a random location on the map
  • Weaker Jump Pads
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Jump Pads are 25% weaker
      • Grapple Points are 40% weaker
  • Beacon Mirage
    • Appears from level 25
    • How it Works:
      • Fake Beacons spawn during Collapse
      • The real Beacon changes location
  • Pacifier
    • Exclusive to Baby and Voidbound Baby
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Audio cues and visual cues are less effective when Baby or Voidbound baby are nearby
  • Bigger Blast
    • Exclusive to ICBM
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • The radius is increased
  • Husk Express
    • Exclusive to Husk
    • Appears from level 8
    • How it Works:
      • A barrier appears in front of the Husk, which can make contact with the player, leading to instant defeat
  • Shotgun
    • Exclusive to Guardians and Voidbound Guardians
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • They can now shoot twice with 8 bullets
      • They now deal AoE DMG

D Tier

  • Lower Gravity
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Your jumping height increases
  • Savory Ring
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • Extra entities are added during Collapse
      • Golden Gifts are increased by 0.15x
  • Scattered Gifts
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Gifts and Golden Gifts move within 2 studs
  • More Tripmines
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • There are 2x more Tripmines
      • Fewer Gifts spawn
  • More Ringing
    • Exclusive to Bell
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Enemies can ring the Bell
      • Bell can teleport more often
  • Mighty Gong
    • Exclusive to Bell
    • Appears from level 1
    • How it Works:
      • Bell increases in size each time it teleports, summoning a shockwave
  • Problem Child
    • Exclusive to Baby and Voidbound Baby
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • Baby and Voidbound Baby can feint, changing their route with increased speed
  • Conga Line
    • Exclusive to Husk
    • Appears from level 10
    • How it Works:
      • The number of Husks which spawn increases by 3x
  • Cognitive Dissonance
    • Exclusive to NIL
    • Appears from level ?
    • How it Works:
      • NIL chases the same player that it has attacked four times
      • During the chase, fake NIL entities are spawned
      • The player is inflicted with the Insanity debuff, which causes hallucinations
  • Camouflage
    • Exclusive to Guardians and Voidbound Guardians
    • Appears from level 5
    • How it Works:
      • They turn invisible whenever they move
      • The speed of their bullets increases
  • Lost Embers
    • Exclusive to Kolona
    • Appears from level ?
    • How it Works:
      • Players must rely on cues instead of being able to see the displayed number
