Cobra is making a play as an innovation company, and its two 2026 putter lines are both examples of it. The company is unveiling its new 3DP Tour and MIM putter lines, both taking a unique manufacturing technique.
With the 3DP Tour line, Cobra is leveraging its massive investments into 3D-printing technology to create a line of super high-MOI putters with forward CGs, making them easier to square.
“3D printing gives us total freedom to design for performance first,” Chad DeHart, Cobra’s senior product line manager, said in a release. “By shifting mass out of the center of the putter, we pushed MOI higher than ever while engineering CG placement for exceptional stability.”
Meanwhile, the MIM line (short for Metal Injection Molding) uses the process to create consistent traditional shapes with a refined Pebax insert — the elastomer material commonly used in running shoes — for a soft, yet responsive, feel.
“The new Pebax insert was a major focus for us with this lineup,” DeHart said. “By improving the insert makeup, we were able to make it more durable, deliver a more responsive feel while also freeing up mass to increase MOI and forgiveness.”

Just like the 3D-printed latice in Cobra’s 3DP irons allows for extreme MOI values from much smaller packages, the 3D-printed construction of the 3DP Tour putter lines allows Cobra to decouple MOI from CG location.
Because the printing frees up so much mass from the center of the putter, the 3DP Tour putters can maintain high stability while still having a forward CG, similar to a blade. Cobra also uses carbon-fiber toplines and 3D-printed nylon cartridges to remove even more mass from the center of the putter.
With previous Pebax inserts, the feel sometimes could get too soft.
For the new MIM line, Cobra firmed up the insert to give it just a little more responsiveness.
Cobra also was able to keep this line under $300 despite the innovative MIM process, ironically, because of the MIM process. Because the process is so precise and accurate, the putters require little hand finishing.
What the two putter lines have in common is LA Golf’s Decending Loft Technology.
The face of each putter is sliced into four sections from top to bottom and starting with four degrees at the top, each section drops by a degree. This allows players with a lot of shaft lean (who impact the ball on the top of the face) and also more neutral players to have the same conditions for optimal forward roll.
The face tech has been a staple of Cobra putters for the last several years.
3DP Tour putters have fully milled 304 stainless-steel face, which will produce a crisper feel at impact.

Cobra is one of the most innovative golf companies in 2026, which shows up in their somewhat radical putter designs.
With the 3DP Tour line, Cobra is showing it’s not afraid of anything when it comes to pushing its 3D-printing technology to help golfers.
While the shapes are non-traditional, that’s kind of where the putter market is heading, with people either selecting traditional looks or throwing those out the door in favor of modern forgiveness.
If you’re seeking those more traditional looks, the MIM line still offers that, but still with an innovative production process that provides incredible accuracy.
Even with putters, Cobra is clearly pushing innovation forward.
Cobra’s new 3DP Tour and MIM putters are available for pre-order starting March 10 and will arrive at retail locations on March 13.
The MIM putter line will retail for $279 while the 3DP Tour putters are priced at $379.
