How to Catch Rare Bugs
It all comes down to luck.
Nets
To increase your chances of catching rare bugs, you need to use Nets with a high Luck stat. These include the Scorpion Net with a 14,801% Luck buff and the Ancient Relic Net with a 20,649% Luck buff, the latter being the highest in the game right now.
The Scorpion Net is obtainable at the Dune Burrow for 250,000,000, and the Ancient Relic Net is found within the temple in Jewel Jungle, costing 800,000,000.
Lure
There’s also the Lucky Lure, which you can equip to your Net, which increases your Luck stat by 214%. The only other Lure that boosts your Luck is the Basic Light Lure, providing a buff of 64%. You can get the Lucky Lure from the Grasslands for 8K and the Basic Light Lure for 1K.
Potions
There are two Potions you can use to temporarily buff your Luck. The first is the regular Luck Potion, providing a 35% boost for 10 minutes, and the second is the Mega Luck Potion, which lasts for 15 minutes.
You can craft the Mega Luck Potion with 5 Ladybugs, whereas the regular Luck Potion costs 150,000 from the Shop.
