Nullscape Altar Tier List

The best and worst Altars to activate during your run in Nullscape.

S Tier

• Altar of Passage
  • Spawns:
    • From level 8
  • Uses:
    • Spawns Golden Gifts on tiles which collapse
    • It cannot be activated during Rush
    • Enrages Guardians
  • Can it Be Echoed?
    • Yes, but it does not spawn extra tiles; instead, it adds additional Golden Gifts to the number you’ve already collected, which increases per level
• Altar of Protection
  • Spawns:
    • From level 8
  • Uses:
    • Summons a bubble which provides a shield to all nearby players for 40 seconds
  • Can it Be Echoed?
    • Yes, but it does not grant a shield to all nearby players; instead, it only grants a shield to the player who activated the Altar
• Altar of Purgatory
  • Spawns:
    • From level 8
  • Uses:
    • Cycles through three different forms, which are determined by the number of Gifts that have been collected
      • Greed
        • Increases the number of Golden Gifts you collect by 2x for the rest of the level
        • Activates when 0% to 50% of the Gifts have been obtained
      • Revive
        • Revives all downed players
        • [Multiplayer] Activates when 50% to 90% of the Gifts have been obtained
      • Disabled
        • Cannot be used
        • [Multiplayer] Activates when 90% of the Gifts have been obtained
        • [Solo] Activates when 50% of the Gifts have been obtained
  • Can it Be Echoed?
    • Yes, but it can only appear in its Greed form

A Tier

• Altar of Echo
  • Spawns:
    • From level 8
  • Uses:
    • Activates the last Altar you used, but changes it depending on which one it is
    • The Altar of Echo can spawn more than once, and if you haven’t activated an Altar before finding Echo, it will have no effect
  • Can it Be Echoed?
    • Yes, but it has no use, except for unlocking the Infinite Feedback Loop achievement

B Tier

• Altar of Chance
  • Spawns:
    • From level 3
  • Uses:
    • You can either get a positive or a negative effect when using this altar. Whatever the effect is, it is applied to the entire level
  • Can it Be Echoed?
    • Yes, but it doesn’t tell you which effect it rolled

C Tier

• Altar of Chaos
  • Spawns:
    • From level 3
  • Uses:
    • Unlocks the Chaos Shop, where you need to choose between a Greater Curse, a regular Curse, a Divine Curse, or an enemy spawn
  • Can it Be Echoed?
    • No

D Tier

• Altar of Purification
  • Spawns:
    • From level 14
  • Uses:
    • Removes Golden Gifts determined by the value of a random active Curse before adding another enemy
      • Curse Values:
        • LAP 2 = 400
        • Mart Slide = 330
        • Nothing? = 325
        • Beacon Mirage = 300
        • Bloodier Meat = 300
        • Blade Carousel = 290
        • Deadly Melody = 280
        • Burning Bouquet = 250
        • Pacifier = 230
        • Springloaded = 200
        • Conga Line = 200
        • Concussion = 200
        • Husk Express = 200
        • Bigger Blast = 200
