If you’re curious about Sea 2, you’ll need to know all about the Sailor Piece Bloodlines. They grant all Sailor Piece players stat buffs, ranging from DMG, Maximum HP, Luck, and more. For more stat-boosting features, check out my Sailor Piece Passive Shards guide, which details how to get Spec Passives.
Bloodlines are a new addition to Sailor Piece with the Sea 2 update. They are, in fact, locked behind Sea 2, so early game players shouldn’t be worrying about this feature just yet. If you’ve reached the endgame, especially that of Sea 1, unlocking a Bloodline should be one of your priorities.
There are 9 Bloodlines altogether as of right now.
To unlock any of the Bloodlines, you need to gather Bloodline Stones. With these stones, you can reroll for a new Bloodline, with each overwriting the other. Bloodline Stones are accessible via your inventory, and each reroll requires just one.
Bloodline Stones are a potential drop from NPCs and Sea Beasts located across Sea 2. This requirement locks Bloodlines behind Sea 2, so you’ll have to unlock access to the new map first. We’ve got a couple of guides covering how to unlock Sea 2, including how to get Map Pieces and where the Ancient Fragments are located.
Any NPC from Sea 2 has a chance of dropping a Bloodline Stone. Though there are reports that the item only drops from NPCs on Sea 2’s Punch Island and Starter Island.
Actually, Sea Beasts, which only spawn on the Sea 2 map, have a 100% chance of dropping Bloodline Stones upon defeat. Once you can teleport there, I recommend battling all enemies you encounter while you wait for Sea Beasts to spawn.
While most enemies in Sea 2 are tougher than those on the Sea 1 map, I reckon defeating higher-level NPCs increases the chance of Bloodline Stones dropping. That’s how it goes for Sea 1, at least.
If you’re lucky enough to find a player willing to part with their spare Bloodline Stones, you can also trade for them.
Currently, the best Bloodline to obtain is the Primordial Bloodline. Astral is a close second, but in my opinion, a DMG Reduction buff is better than a Lifesteal buff. However, it does come down to whether you prefer to deal Melee DMG or Sword DMG. Primordial focuses on Melee, whereas Astral favours Sword.
While the DMG buff for the Primordial Bloodline takes a very slight hit compared to Astral, the former has a higher Maximum HP stat, as well as an increased Luck multiplier.
