During your playthrough and probably the initial few cycles (runs) in Saros, you might wonder what these disc-like structures on the ground are and how you can use them. These are the jump pads that launch you into the air to explore the side paths in a biome. Navigating through these jump pads is essential for finding all Halcyon in a biome. Moreover, there is also teleportation in Saros, which is only possible with Network Jumping Pads that link biomes with the Passage. If you are wondering how to teleport and how to use jump pads in Saros, then this guide has you covered.

The teleportation becomes available upon reaching the Ancient Depths, the second biome in Act 1. After you have dealt with the Prophet, the boss of the Shattered Rise biome, you will reach the Ancient Depths. As you continue to progress in the second biome, you will get the objective to go back to Passage. This activates the Network Jumping Pad feature, which is teleportation. If you haven’t reached this part yet, keep progressing through the game to unlock this feature.
During the cutscene, the protagonist will come back to the Passage. After that, you will get the objective to return to the Ancient Depths, using the portal. This is the first time you will get to teleport in the adventure. To teleport in Saros, it is very simple. Interact with the Primary and navigate to the new World Dial tab. From here, open the portal to the Ancient Depths biome and close the menu. Now, head to the center of the portal, and you will teleport back.

After this point, you can use the portal in any biome to teleport back to Passage. Interact with the portal to teleport, and then if you want to return to the biome, use the World Dial in the Primary.

Upon unlocking the Network Jumping Pads, the smaller Jumping Pads that you often see throughout the biomes will become online. To use a jumping pad, press X while standing on it. It will launch you up in the facing direction. You can also sprint towards it and press X as you step on it to jump with great momentum.
The jumping pads allow you to explore the main and side paths in the biome. As you would have missed several paths in the Shattered Rise biome, you can revisit that biome from the Primary and make use of jumping pads to explore it thoroughly.
