Minimalist Arcade Game Ship v Maze Launching April 2

Letting players fly, crash, and repeat, the minimalist (and endlessly replayable) world of Cosmic Droplet’s arcade game Ship v Maze will come out for Steam on April 2.

Featuring a design inspired by an early 80s arcade aesthetic, Ship v Maze has players guiding a ship through increasingly complex mazes with just two inputs – left and right.

Rather than include acceleration or braking elements, players will instead have to rely on pure navigation – and determination.

Solo developer Frederic Vanmol said the following:

“I love playing short, frantic, stressful games that you just don’t want to stop playing.

Where you know you’ll make stupid mistakes but still convince yourself you won’t. This is my attempt at such a game.

I hope you’ll find it both fun and frustrating!”

In the interim, one can wishlist Ship v Maze via its official Steam page – a demo is also available!
