Dune: Awakening Chapter 3 and Broken Lands DLC Preview

Guided by a number of conversations, suggestions, and feedback from across the community, Chapter 3 has been designed to provide more meaningful progression and choice in its Tier 6 late-game, completely revamping its end-game.

On that note, Dune: Awakening will see a rebuilt Landsraad system, extended Faction ranks, and two progression loops with Specialization and Augmentations working together.

Adding to the experience, this Dune: Awakening update also brings with it five new repeatable Testing Stations and boss fights.

This also ties into different contracts for houses, with different houses having different missions. Broken down into Sabotage, Combat, Gathering, Crafting, and Exploration categories, players can choose to accept any of Dune: Awakening’s new missions on behalf of any house.

Packing the right tools for the job, Dune: Awakening now lets players dual wield knives. While this weaponry does provide for a more aggressive fighting style, it also makes players more vulnerable – tread lightly.

Dune: Awakening players can also watch the world burn with the new Pyrocket weapon, with blasts fire and provides a toasty AoE.

Dune: Awakening will also see new paid DLC in the form of Raiders of the Broken Lands. Designed with builders in mind, players can take advantage of a number of new decorations and over 70 new building pieces.

Dune: Awakening Chapter 3, alongside its Raiders of the Broken Lands DLC, is set to shake things up more than sandworm with its rebuilt Landsraad system, suite of new building pieces, and wealth of content.

For those looking to dive in, Dune: Awakening is now available for the PC via its official Steam page.
