The Winter Event brings a brand-new look to Heartopia, especially in the Onsen Mountain region. There is a brand new theme park for all players and NPCs to enjoy. As players visit Onsen Mountain frequently, whether to look for daily eggs or explore the theme park, there are various activities to try out. One such activity is the new Ice Skating Dream hobby. Players can skate around at the Ice Rink and complete challenges to earn new rewards. In this guide, we will tell you how to do ice skating in Heartopia.
Ice Skating is a fun and straightforward activity available for all players in Heartopia during the Winter Event. All you have to do is visit the new theme park north of the Onsen Mountain and go to the Ice Rink. As you step on the rink, you will get a pop-up on the screen to start skating. Click on the green icon to accept, and your character will start skating on the ice.

Use the movement keys to glide on the ice and click on the two poses on the screen to perform them. As you perform each pose, you will score points. Moreover, the circular bar will start to fill as you score points. Upon filling up the bar, you will gain a score multiplier. You can get a 2x score multiplier, allowing you to score points easily, which is efficient for completing Ice Skating Challenges.
There is no limitation for skating, but the Ice Skating Challenges are only available at D.G. Level 16. If you are a Level 16 Developer’s Guild Member, you should see the “Ice Skating Challenge” button on the top right of the screen. Click on the button to see your challenge. Every challenge will require you to score a certain number of points under a time limit. To score more points, you must perform smoother transitions between two moves and perform a new move. This will earn you points quickly. Other than that, you can spam the pose buttons on the screen to reach the score limit without a sweat. However, the challenges will become difficult and will require you to time the moves for an effective attempt.

Speaking of attempts, all players have 10 attempts in total, which they can use to complete only two challenges per day. Fortunately, a failed attempt at a challenge will not cost you any attempt. You can try to complete a challenge for as long as you like.

Unlocking new ice skating moves is only possible by completing Ice Skating Challenges. For every challenge you complete, you will unlock a move in the Dream Log of Ice Skating Enthusiast. There are tons of moves in the Dream Log, and you can view them from the Dreams App. Click on the highlighted node in the Dream Log to avail the move.

In addition to unlocking moves from the Ice Skating Dream Log, you will also earn Dream Progress by completing Dream Goals. These goals can be scoring a certain number of points in either normal mode or challenge mode. As you complete them, you can claim the Dream Progress from the Ice Skating Dream Log. You can use the Dream Progress to claim other rewards, including gold, ice skates, and wishing stars.
Here are all the Ice Skating Dream Rewards that you can claim in Heartopia.
