Announced during the Warframe Devstream earlier today, the Android version of Warframe will launch February 18 and The Shadowgrapher update will release this March.
Giving players the chance to explore the Origin System on Android devices, this version features cross-play and cross-save support. For those in Canada, a soft launch is planned for the region beginning February 11.
On that note, pre-registration for Warframe on Android can done via its official website.
Players will also be able to obtain exclusive rewards by downloading and logging into Warframe on Android by March 4. Those that do will net themselves the Cumulus Collection, which provides special weapon and armor cosmetics alongside resource boosters.
Meanwhile, Warframe’s free The Shadowgrapher update across all devices in March will let players return to the ruins of the Vesper Relay. The ominous, inkblot-inspired 64th Warframe Follie will also make an appearance in The Shadowgrapher.
Megan Everett, Community Director, said the following:
“We are one step closer to making Warframe playable on every current-gen platform with the upcoming launch on Android devices.
It’s always been our goal to make Warframe as accessible as possible. Our game has a little something to offer for everyone, and this is the next major step to sharing the Warframe experience with new Tenno around the world.
Thanks to Cross Play and Cross Save, the sky is the limit to who you play with and how you play!”
Warframe is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and iOS devices – one can learn more via the official Warframe website.
