Hytale is a sandbox action-adventure video game set in a vast, mysterious world. As players spawn in the world, they must gather materials to craft tools and set up a base to survive through the nightly horrors. Moreover, Hytale has a durability system for all gear items like tools, weapons, and armor. The overall durability of these items decreases upon usage. Repairing the gear items, including tools, weapons, and armor in Hytale, requires a Repairing Kit. The repairing kit itself is a tool that repairs any tool, weapon, or armor without cost of additional materials.
To get the Repair Kit in Hytale, players can craft it at a Tier 1 Workbench with the following materials.
TIP: Hunt common animals like sheep, cows, and rabbits to get Light Hide.
After crafting the Repair Kit, you need to equip it to use it. Place the Repair Kit in one of the hot slots and press the corresponding key to equip it. Once done, press RMB to use it, and it will open a menu with all of the currently equipped gear items. Here, you need to select any one item you wish to repair.
Selecting the item will repair it completely. However, any repaired item will lose 10% of its maximum durability. For instance, if you have a broken tool with a maximum of 100 durability, repairing it will lower its maximum durability to 90. Moreover, 1 Repair Kit is for 1 gear item. Using the repair kit once will remove it from your inventory. You will have to craft more Repair Kits to repair more items.
