Lunar Path is a Battle Pass system in Palia added with the previous Winter’s Wonder: Home for Winterlights update. Similar to most battle pass systems in other games, it has two tiers of rewards, regular and premium. Players can unlock these rewards by earning Lunar XP. However, Lunar XP is different from regular XP in Palia, requiring players to grind harder to earn it. Well, fortunately, today, with the release of the latest patch, Winter’s Wonder: Snowbound Sanctuary has brought some changes to earning Lunar XP. These changes will significantly make the grind easier for Lunar XP. In this guide, we will tell you how to farm Lunar XP in Palia.
Lunar XP is unique to Lunar Paths, allowing players to rank up tiers to unlock rewards. There are two efficient ways to earn Lunar XP: completing the Dailies and Bundles. In the previous patch, the Dailies gave 50 Lunar XP, and the Bundle rewards 100 Lunar XP. However, in the latest patch, all the Lunar XP numbers have changed. Each Path Level now requires 10,000 Lunar XP instead of 100 Lunar XP. Do not be alarmed by this number, as the Dailies and the Bundle will reward 5,000 – 10,000 Lunar XP.
With these new changes, the Dailies and the Bundles are still the efficient methods to earn Lunar XP. You can complete 2 Dailies every day to earn 10,000 Lunar XP and unlock the next tier reward.
In addition to changing Lunar XP numbers, the Devs have also added the capability to earn Lunar XP by earning Skill XP. This means that doing the regular activities of fishing, cooking, mining, foraging, furniture making, etc., will reward a percentage of Skill XP as Lunar XP. Moreover, since the Skill XP is quite low, the player will now have an additional Rest XP. It is a new system that multiplies the Lunar XP earned from activities by 10x. The Rest XP banks up every Palia Day (1 hour in real life). So, every hour your earned Lunar XP from skills will be multiplied by 10x.
One of the best ways to quickly farm Lunar XP is to perform activities as long as you can. Once you are done for the day, quit the game and log in the next day. As you log in, you will have a bonus XP of hours waiting to multiply the Lunar XP. This way, you will quickly climb through the tiers and unlock rewards from the new Lunar Path without struggling to grind.
