The Archangel is a hybrid race, seamlessly blending the Demon and Angel species. This gives players the best of both worlds cosmetically and passive-wise, if they’re lucky enough to obtain this 0.1% chance race.
Those with this race will have one demonic wing and one angelic wing on their backs. Their head will split between a grungey red with horns, and their default avatar face with a halo. A perfect 50/50.
If you have a spare roll slot, then absolutely! The Archangel essentially fuses the best two races that were available previous to its release.
The Angel Race was the best mining Race, having increased Luck, as well as better movement versus other races. Meanwhile, the Demon Race was better constructed for combat, having damage buffers to keep demonic players safe deep within the caves.
Given that The Forge gameplay loop requires long mining trips and battles, this makes the Archangel the absolute new meta.
