Prickly Pear and Olive are one of the uncommon consumable items in Arc Raiders. Both of these items grant the player a burst of energy upon consumption. Moreover, they have a very special purpose in the game. One of the main uses of Prickly Pear and Olive is to give them to Scrappy, your Rooster, and level him up to the Treasure Hunter rank. Scrappy is extremely helpful in providing materials and assorted seeds. As you level him up, he will grant you more items after each raid. The Prickly Pear and Olive are essential materials for leveling up Scrappy to Treasure Hunter, Level 4. Both Prickly Pear and Olive are natural items, which means they usually spawn in the wild and mainly near the trees. However, not all maps have Prickly Pear and Olive trees. In fact, they both grow in different maps, meaning you will have to do multiple runs for both of these materials on different maps.

Prickly Pears spawn near the cacti plants. There are two main spots for cacti plants, one in Dam Battlegrounds (map) near the Pattern House, and the other is south of Buried City (map). Both of these locations are quite safe to explore. Look for the cacti plants in the area and loot Prickly Pear on the ground.
Olive Grove in Blue Gate (map) is the best location to find Olives alongside Lemons and Apricots. You can find several trees in the area with fruit fallen on the ground. Moreover, you can interact with the trees to kick them and get a couple more. However, this zone is quite famous for harvesting fruits. You must be careful of other human players. It is best to ally with other players while searching the Olive Grove.
Last but not least, if you spot the Lush Blooms condition active on either Buried City or Blue Gate, take advantage of it. This condition significantly increases the spawn rate of fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms. It will be easier for you to gather Prickly Pears and Olives under the Lush Blooms condition.
After finding Prickly Pears and Olives, put them in your Safe Slot so you don’t lose all of them even if you die. Once you are back at the Speranza, go to the Workshop to train Scrappy to Level 4, Treasure Hunter, by giving him Prickly Pears and Olives alongside a Cat Bed. Scrappy’s ability to gather materials and assorted seeds will increase on Level 4. The player will get more materials from Scrappy after each raid.
