All About Skin.Club and How It Works With CS:GO

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a massive tactical first person shooter played by millions worldwide. Originally released in 2012, developer Valve changed the game to a free-to-play model in December 2018.

This changed Valve’s focus on making revenue from the game via sales to cosmetic items. These include weapon skins, knives, gloves, character agents, and graffiti you can create in game.

So as you might expect, several sites have popped up to take advantage of this. One such site is Skin.Club, and we’re going to explain what it is, how it works, and what advantages it can offer to CS:GO players. Because we’re nice like that.

What is it?

So as touched upon above, Skin.Club is an online platform that helps provide you with the mechanics required to nab a number of in-game skins by opening upgrades and cases.

You can buy cases to open, but Skin.Club even boasts something called case battles. These put you up against other players as you open identical cases at the same time.

The skins pulled are displayed along with their dollar value. However what isn’t shown until the end of the process is the total value each player has received. These battles last a preset number of rounds, and once they come to an end the person whose skins totalled the most money gets all the skins everyone has drawn.

Not for the faint of heart, and most may want to stick to the standard method of gaining new skins on the site.

How does it work

Before you work with the site you must make sure you are able to trade on Steam. This is so the site’s automatic robot is able to send you the items you’ve requested.

There’s also an in-depth verification process that makes sure you are 18 years or older. It’s simple to verify your account though, as you just upload a photo of valid ID – be it a passport or driving license.

Once you’re ready to roll, you simply go to your profile and click send on the item of interest. Then when the trade offer is ready choose the “Get” option, which redirects you to the trade on Steam.

But be careful, as anyone saying they are an administrator, moderator or trade bot of Skin.Club is not legitimate. Skin.Club never sends screenshots of its control panel or adds you on Steam to trade your items. Make sure you do all the trading via the official channels.

What are the key advantages

There are several, but one is that you can grab bargains easily and if you keep an eye on what’s for sale. You can of course do even better via the case battles mentioned too.

But what is most useful is that you can get exactly the cosmetic items you want without loads of fuss and grinding in the game.

Sites like Skin.Club are slowly growing in popularity, and it’s no real surprise. Cosmetic items have become a massive part of the game, and sites helping players making easier to get them were – quite simply – inevitable.
