    Does Luck affect Race Chances in The Forge

    Unfortunately, no, Luck does not affect Race Chances when rerolling.

    Despite seeming like an obvious link, Races will remain RNG-only. This is likely due to the obtainment of Race Rerolls being exclusive to Codes and Robux. If players were able to invest in Luck Boosts before rerolling their race, then every player would likely be a Demon or Angel, giving servers little diversity in cosmetics and skills.

    Or, it could be as simple as the DEVs think Luck impacting Race chances will reduce the fun grind of earning Rerolls and hoping to get one you want.

    What Does Luck Control

    Luck and all Luck Buffs solely apply to the chance of uncovering rarer Ores when mining.

    The luckier your setup, the better the chance of uncovering a rarer mineral when mining nodes.

    How To Gain Luck

    • Races
      • Some Races, ironically, permanently apply Luck Boost. This includes: Humans, Elves, and Angels.
    • Pickaxe
      • All Pickaxes have a Luck stat, which tells the player their base Luck and odds of uncovering rarer Ores.
    • Runes
      • Some runes, such as the Miner Shard: Luck, apply permanent Luck Buffs to Pickaxes.
      • Obtained from Mining and killing Mobs.
    • Totems
      • Totems apply an AoE Luck boost lasting several minutes after placement. This lets all players within the area share a boost.
      • Obtained via Codes and Robux.
    • Potions
      • All Potion Merchants sell Luck Potions, tiny vial elixirs that apply temporary Luck enhancements after being consumed.
    • Achievements
      • The Dedicated Player Achievement applies a permanent Luck Booster when equipped.
      • Obtained from total playtime awards.
