The Blue Moon is a server-wide event that has a random chance of spawning when it is nighttime, with clear weather, and the winter season is active. Yep, it relies on a lot of factors! Even when all of these requirements are met, there’s no guarantee that the Blue Moon event will spawn.
However, players can manually spawn the Blue Moon event by using a Blue Moon Totem, yet it only works if the server conditions are met (clear weather, nighttime, winter). Whether it spawns naturally or you use a Blue Moon Totem, the event only lasts 10 minutes, much like other server-wide events in Fisch.
To obtain a Blue Moon Totem, you need to wait for the Blue Moon event to be active. This is because the item is located within the secret cave that opens when a Blue Moon event occurs. It costs 500K in-game coins altogether, making it fairly affordable. This Blue Moon cave is located on Snowcap Island, which unlocks a new Bestiary page, too.
During a Blue Moon event, you have a chance to fish up Moon Idols, which unlock the Moon-Kissed buff for 24 hours. The effects of this buff are:
Rare fish spawn during a Blue Moon event, too, which you can catch by visiting the Blue Moon cave on Snowcap Island. There are 16 fish to catch altogether!
