All Dig Weather Events are explained in this guide, including which ones are admin-exclusive and which can spawn randomly! Learn about the various Mutations (or Modifiers) in Dig, which boost the value of your items.
There are currently eight different weather events in Dig, all of which provide various effects that boost stats and grant modifiers.
The Blue Moon event increases your Strength stat by 2x. The higher your Strength, the quicker the minigame is as the shovel chips away more of the bar. While it doesn’t matter if you hit the Strong point of the bar, it does help!
While the Supernova event is active, all items you dig up have the Supernova modifier, which increases the selling value by 2.7x. The one thing about this event though, is that it can only be activated manually by an admin.
During the Clover Storm event, your Luck stat increases by 2x, and the sun warps into a four-leaf clover. This means you may dig up rarer items that sell for more, with potential modifiers, increasing the value further.
It’s also a useful way to fill out your journal pages for each location, especially if you’re struggling to find Mythical, Divine, or Secret rarity items.
The Hurricane event guarantees that all items you dig up during the event gain the Windforce modifier, which increases the selling value by 2.8x. This is another example of an admin-exclusive event!
Struggling to get Shiny items? While the Rainbow event is active, your chances of getting Shiny items increase by 3%. Additionally, you can spot a rainbow in the sky, and if you follow it to the end, there’s a pot of gold waiting for you.
This grants you a ton of in-game coins and a car attachment. However, this is only available for one player, so try to get there first!
The Meteor Shower grants 2x Luck, but the main benefit of this weather event is the fact that crashed meteors grant you the opportunity to obtain the Starfire Shovel.
Look out for meteors on the ground, as you can purchase the shovel for 600K in-game coins. Luckily, the game tells you where the meteor lands!
Each time you dig, you have a 50% chance of getting an item with the Piggy modifier, which increases the value by 2x. Only admins can activate this event, so it cannot spawn naturally.
The Money Shower event is admin-exclusive, which means only an admin can activate it, and it will not spawn randomly. Throughout this weather event, all items sell for 1.5x more.
There’s also a chance for your items to get the Greedy modifier, which increases the selling value by 2.7x.
