To start the Moon Seeker quest in Palia, players must reach Friendship Level 4 with Chayne and complete the Stargazer quest for him. Upon completing the prerequisite quest and reaching friendship level 4, a quest marker will appear on Chayne. Go and speak with Chayne to initiate the Moon Seeker quest.
Before you head to the Temple of Waves, go and speak with Jina. Ask her about a Phoenix moon translation guide, and she will tell you to check the water temple.
Now, go to the Temple of Waves located past the Phoenix Shrine. Make your way to the end of the hallway and go through the door. Here, you have to glide down to the temple and find the translation guide. Jump and glide to the center of the temple and go to the open door on the left side. Stay on the ground floor and make your way to the end of the hallway. Now, enter the room on the right side, and there will be a translation guide in the left corner of the room.
Interact with the guide to pick it up. Now, it’s time to get back to Chayne. To leave the temple, go to the next room and stand on the water puddle. It will push you up, allowing you to glide back to the higher ground.
Leave the temple and open the map to find Chayne. Go to Chayne and speak to him to give him the translation guide. Go through the dialogues, and the Moon Seeker quest will conclude.
