After encountering the Magnificent, who has a whopping 600 HP, it’s no shock that adventurers venturing into Demo 5 for the first time find themselves asking how to beat the Magnificent in Block Tales.

Seamless intro out of the way, I’m here to tell you exactly how to do that, including all deployed strats, and why 600 HP isn’t as intimidating as it first seems…

Let’s get into it.

How To Beat the Magnificent in Block Tales Demo 5

First, I don’t know your current build, so this guide will seem a little vague; it’s more of a one-size-fits-all.

That said, I recommend starting this fight with healing items, a good AoE move, and a PvP move. If you have access to NPC summons to get extra help during the fight, then it’d be in your best interest to do so. For example, the Call: Brad Thaniyel Card.

Ready? Fight!

Whittle down the Magnificent using your PvP move until he conjures his Oculets. When these spawn, swap to your AoE move, such as Launcher. (Or whatever is at your disposal to quickly get them out of the fight.)

At this point, the Magnificent will have lost between 20 and 40 HP, depending on how quickly you clear the Oculets. Believe it or not, you’re past the halfway point of this fight.

Once you get the battle message “Opiticus’ next move LOOKS dangerous…” This happens, on average, when he reaches around 550 HP.

Upon deploying this next dangerous move, Opiticus the Magnificent delf-destrcuts, dealing a massive -9999 HP to himself from a failed casting. L bozo. You win the fight automatically at this point.

Hint: Magnificent has 0 Shield, so each attack you land on him deals the maximum amount of health.

To win, you must keep Cassie alive whilst battling.
