The Doll Limbs are a necessary set of items that you need to find to progress in Dollhouse Bloodshed. By doing so, you can open the mysterious music box on the second floor.
After a recent update, the Doll Limbs now spawn in random locations during each playthrough. Before this update, you could find them in the same spots every time. This adds a more challenging aspect to this puzzle, but it does mean its difficulty has now been increased.
These locations are where I’ve personally found the Doll Limbs. I’ve played through the game multiple times to discover as many possible spawn locations as I can. Naturally, there will be spots that I haven’t found yet; however, I’ll keep this guide updated each time I come across a new one.
If you’ve randomly found the Doll Limbs, you might be wondering what on earth they’re for. No, they’re not a decorative item for added creepy vibes. They do have a use, but it just takes a little while to get to that point in the game.
The Doll Limbs are, in fact, required for a puzzle. This puzzle involves the Horrifying Doll, which is attached to a wall and has no limbs. Truly horrifying. To find the Horrifying Doll, you need to complete the jumbled-up painting puzzle.
After finding the two missing square pieces for the painting, your next task is to assemble each piece into its correct position. Upon completion, a secret room unlocks, which is where the Horrifying Doll is located.
One of the square pieces is on the second floor of the library, and the other can be cut out of a painting in the dining room with a Letter Opener. The latter is located in the Bathroom, which requires the Bathroom Key.
You obtain the Bathroom Key when opening the locked chest on the second floor, which requires you to solve the chest puzzle. This involves the toy blocks on either side of the chest.
