Frostspore Insects are infected Insects available for a limited time during the Winter Frost season event in Heartopia. These Insects are part of the new Fashionwave event and help you earn Fashionwave Points. However, unlike regular Insects, these Insects spawn in a specific location. In this guide, we will tell you about all Frostspore Insects available in Heartopia and how to catch them.
There are five Frostspore Insects in total, of which 4 are available in the second week of the season. The fifth Insects will be available in the third week of the season. Here are all Frostspore Insects in Heartopia.
Catching each Frostspore Insect gives you a Season Collection Point (gold star). You can get up to a maximum of 5 gold stars per Insect. It means you can get 25 gold stars from catching Frostspore Insects. Moreover, you can claim various exclusive ornaments and items by gathering gold stars.
Frostspore Insects spawn in the Forest region, on the east side of the map. However, before you go to the Forest and start searching for blue, green, pink, and purple butterflies, speak with Naniwa to trigger the quest for Frostspore Butterflies. After accepting the quest, go to the northern Forest Lake and roam around the area to spot green and blue butterflies. These are the Frostspore Queen Alexandra’s Birdwing and Frostspore Sulkowsky’s Morpho.
For the pink and purple butterflies, go to the southern Forest Lake and roam the area. These are the Frostspore Mother-of-Pearl and Frostspore Purple Spotted Swallowtail butterflies. All of these butterflies will be roaming around the lakes in the Forest region. Try to examine carefully around the lake to spot them easily.
Catching the mysterious Frostspore Insects or Butterflies requires the same procedure as catching the normal insects. You just have to be careful with your stepping, so that you don’t startle them away. After spotting a Frostspore Butterfly, walk slowly towards it and equip your Bubble Net. Once it is in range, shoot the bubble in the direction of the butterfly to catch it.
