Scotty Cameron adds 3 new models to Studio Style putter lineup

Three new putter models are joining the Scotty Cameron Studio Style lineup, the manufacturer announced Tuesday.

The Santa Fe, a blade-style putter, and the Fastback 2 and Fastback 2 Long Design (mid-mallets) will join the 12-model Studio Style collection that debuted last year.

Last year, Scotty Cameron’s Studio Style line introduced Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) face inserts and chain-link face-milling technology designed to deliver soft feel, feedback and consistent ball speed. That technology is also utilized in these three new putter models.

SCS was used in the face insert when designers determined the material has a greater damping capacity than other metal inserts like Teryllium, stainless steel and aluminum. SCS delivers exceptionally soft sound by limiting the duration of the tone of the strike. Additionally, chain-link face milling helps reduce the number of touchpoints with the golf ball at impact to further dampen sound and preserve feedback. To increase durability, the SCS face insert is plated with electroless nickel.

The Studio Style Fastback 2 features a rounded, compact head shape — the same modern mid-mallet profile as the Studio Style Fastback from last year — but features a plumber’s neck for moderate toe flow. A black anodized aluminum heel-toe inlay helps increase perimeter weighting and MOI. This putter is also available in a left-handed model.

This putter is also available as a left-handed model.
