How to Add and Play With Friends in Heartopia

You unlock the Friendship Journal as you progress through the tutorial quests of the Main Story! The game lets you know when you’ve unlocked the feature, so don’t worry, you won’t miss it. Once you have access to the Friend Journal, you can add friends and receive friend requests.

Now, to add friends, you need their Friend Code. Once you have another player’s Friend Code, or they have yours, the friend request can be sent.

1. Open the in-game Watch
2. Select the Friendship Journal (as long as you’ve unlocked it via the main quests)
3. Select the magnifying glass icon, which is the Search function
4. Copy and paste the Friend Code or type it in manually
5. It costs 1 Wishing Star to send a friend request! Once you’ve paid for it, the request is sent

How to Find Your Friend Code

You can find your Friend Code by selecting your Profile via the in-game Watch. Once you’ve got your Friend Code, make sure to copy and paste it or take a screenshot. Sharing Friend Codes makes it easier to add other players!

How to Play With Friends

If one of your friends is online, you can view their profile via the Friendship Journal. There’s an option to teleport to the town they’re currently in, as long as there’s available space in the server. All servers have a maximum capacity of 12 players.

As long as you’re on each other’s friends list, you can both see your profile icons on the map, making it easy to find each other. Once you’re together in-game, you can use the chat function!
