Exploring the Arcadia-7 planet in StarRupture will engage you with dangerous Vermin creatures. Fighting with Vermin can be extremely dangerous. It is crucial to keep a decent amount of ammunition for your weapons and some food to survive and return to your base. However, health does not regenerate on its own in StarRupture, making it more challenging to survive. In this guide, we will tell you how to heal in StarRupture.
The proper healing mechanic in StarRupture does not unlock until a few hours of gameplay and progression. The initial methods to heal in StarRupture include being full on food and water, and consuming the Star Tears. These are blue crystals that spawn on the rocks across Arcadia-7. Consuming each Star Tear crystal regenerates 20 HP but adds toxicity.
Additionally, players can use the Star Tears with other ingredients to make food items that can regenerate more HP. However, these food items will still add toxicity.
As players progress through the game, they can unlock the Medtool by reaching Level 3 with the Future Health Solutions Corporation. It will require the players to deliver Wolfram Bars and Wolfram Wires to the corporation via the Orbital Cargo Launcher. Upon reaching Level 3, go to the Corporate Terminal and claim the Medtool.
The Medtool is the primary tool for regenerating health in StarRupture. Press the H Key to equip the tool and then press LMB to heal yourself. Moreover, if you are playing with your friend, you can press the RMB while holding the Medtool to heal them.
However, the Medtool requires a recharge after every use. Recharging the Medtool involves the following actions.
As you pursue these actions, each one will recharge the Medtool for a certain percentage. Once the Medtool is fully charged, you can equip and use it.
