Cold Snap update of Arc Raiders brings a new Flickering Flames event to earn precious rewards like Raider Tokens, Outfits, Emotes, and more. The Flickering Flames project has five stages, and completing each stage requires a number of Candleberries, a new nature item. Unlike regular nature items, the Candleberries only spawn in harsh, cold weather, so the players will have to explore in intense cold to find them, on top of the threat of dying from frostbite. In this guide, we will tell you where to find Candleberries in Arc Raiders.
Candleberries spawn only during the Cold Snap map condition. There are four maps with this map condition, including Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, The Blue Gate, and Spaceport. The player must join the raid on any of these maps while the Cold Snap map condition is active to find Candleberries in the wild.
TIP: Bring more healing items than usual while joining the Cold Snap raid.
Similar to all the nature items, the usual spawn point for the Candleberries is where a lot of trees are. The Candleberry Bush spawn is random, and it can take a few moments to find it near the trees and nature areas. However, the red color of the berries in the snow makes it easier to recognize the bush. After locating the bush, harvest it to get 2x Candleberries.
The best locations to have a high chance of spawning Candleberries in Dam Battlegrounds are trees near the Hydroponic Dome Complex and South Swamp Outpost.
The best location to find Candleberries in Buried City is Marano Park. However, it is a dangerous area due to the spawn of Bombardier and Bastion in the same area. Alternatively, look around the trees and bushes around the map to have a chance of finding a Candleberry Bush or two.
The best locations to find Candleberries in The Blue Gate map are Olive Grove and Trapper’s Glade. Both of these locations spawn nature items, so each location guarantees a bush or two.
The Spaceport map does not have any big nature locations, which makes it not an ideal map to search for Candleberries. However, there is a chance of finding Baskets, which also drop Candleberries.
In addition to harvesting Candleberry Bushes for Candleberries, there are a couple of other methods.
Lastly, the final method to get Candleberries is through the Flickering Flames reward track. The reward track offers various rewards, like outfits, emotes, raider tokens, and Candleberries. All you have to do is play the game and earn Merit Points. As you cross Merit Thresholds, you will earn the respective rewards.
