Should you unlock the Where Winds Meet Professions? Well, they’re worth it! Building your character to the best of your abilities is one of the most important parts of Where Winds Meet. Don’t forget about Aspiration Talents, as they’re a key feature in your character builds!
At this current time, there are 2 Professions to unlock in Where Winds Meet. In this guide, I’ll go over both of these Professions, how to unlock them, and what benefits they provide.
As a Healer, you can actively replenish the health of characters who have sustained injuries or are ill. To do this, use Wind Sense to detect their location and approach the NPC.
Press the V key on your keyboard or the R3 button on your controller to start the observation. A prompt then appears on the screen, which you can move past by pressing the F key on your keyboard or the Triangle button on your controller.
You need to complete the ‘Legacy: Healer’s Calling’ quest. To pick up this quest, you must head to Qinghe and reach level 13. During this quest, you meet a traveller who has been poisoned, whom you must heal.
This minigame features a turn-based mechanic where you must heal the patient without letting your Vitality Energy reach 0. You must then send Prescriptions to deplete the Affliction Severity meter. You can upgrade these Prescriptions by collecting duplicates from the Season Shop.
Additionally, you can make medicine as a Healer! Collect various ingredients to craft different types of medicines, which you can increase in power as you become a stronger Healer.
Struggling with Gift of Gab? Becoming a Scholar might help. Scholars have access to Scholar Giftboxes, which have a chance to grant you duplicate Gift of Gab Cards. With duplicates, you can upgrade your cards.
Scholars also have a higher chance of their Advanced and Basic Attributes becoming stronger, which can be further improved by upgrading the Scholar Profession in general.
To become a Scholar, you must complete the ‘Gift of Gab: Silver Tongue’ Spring quest in Qinghe and reach level 13. Then, visit Deerforage Grove (also in Qinghe) to find Yan Huajin.
As a Scholar you can craft Talismans to grant yourself buffs. Collect the required materials and experiment with different Talismans to see which works best for you.
You need to find any NPC with the Gift of Gab prompt! Once the debate has started, you need to deplete the Mental Focus on your opponent to win. However, you need to take note of your Inspiration.
To upgrade any Profession, you can use Career Notebooks. This item is obtainable via the in-game Season Shop and by exploring the game’s map. By upgrading Professions, your Basic and Advanced Attributes are increased, as well as various other buffs to the specialized crafting features.
