After completing this quest, you get the Monke Business badge as a reward, as well as EXP!
For this quest, you need to collect 30 Bananite. You may have already obtained Bananite while casually mining!
Bananite is an Uncommon rarity ore that you can get from Stonewake’s Cross. By mining both rocks and boulders, you have a 1 in 30 chance of getting a Bananite. It’s not too rare but isn’t overly common either, so you might be mining for a while when trying to collect 30 of them.
If you have some spare Bananite ores after completing the Monke Need Bananite quest, you can sell them for 12.75 Gold each or use them to forge armor and weapons. It provides no extra traits when forging, but has a 0.85x multiplier, which isn’t great, but it’s something.
Where is the monkey NPC? Follow these steps.
1 – Teleport to the Forgotten Kingdom
2 – Once you reach the spawn area of the Forgotten Kingdom, turn around to face the ocean behind you
3 – Walk onto the wooden dock and head to the right side
4 – Swim through the water towards the small island to the left
5 – Use one of the smaller rock platforms to jump to the top of the island
6 – At the top of the island, you can find the Monke NPC
Once you’ve met the monkey, you can speak with him to unlock the quest! After getting all 30 of the Bananite, you can head back to the monkey to hand them in.
