How to Start Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Mysteria Ecclesiae is the third and final DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The new DLC offers a brand-new story and side content at a new location, Sedletz Monastery. Similar to the previous DLCs, there are some prerequisites in addition to owning the DLC. In this guide, we will tell you how to start Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC Requirements in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To access the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC, you must first own the DLC and progress until the second day of the main quest, “The Sword and the Quill”. Once players have arrived in Kuttenberg and made enough progress in the main story, a purple shield icon will appear on the map. Now, the location of the purple icon will depend on your progress. The purple icon marks the location of Peter of Pisek’s current whereabouts.

Speak to Peter of Pisek to Start Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC

If you have fulfilled all of the main requirements of the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC, you must speak with Peter of Pisek to start the new content. Peter of Pisek is the quest giver of the new DLC. Find Peter of Pisek either at Suchdol or in Kuttenberg City to initiate the Royal Physician, the first quest of the new DLC. If you have completed the main story of KCD2, you will find Peter of Pisek in Kuttenberg City. Follow the icon on the compass to reach Peter and speak with him to start the DLC.

NOTE: If you cannot speak to Peter of Pisek, try traveling to Trosky and back to Kuttenberg. It should fix the problem. Alternatively, try passing the time to change the location of Peter.

Find Albich of Uniczow and Departure for the Monastery

After starting the Royal Physician quest, Peter of Pisek will ask you to meet Albich at the Apothecary in Kuttenberg. Follow the marker on the compass to the Apothecary and speak with the trader inside. He will reveal that Albich has left to treat a neighbor’s maid, 2 houses to the east. Make your way to the house and meet with Albich to give him Pisek’s Letter.

Moreover, you will have to deal with two men before you can leave with Albich. Pass the skill check or fight with them. Once done, you will get the option to depart for Sedletz Monastery with Albich. Agreeing to the departure will lock you to the DLC content.

NOTE: You cannot leave the Monastery until you complete the Mysteria Ecclesiae story.

Make sure that you go prepared by bringing some Saviour Schnapps, Lockpicks, Poisons, etc. These items will make the story content easier for you, as you won’t be able to use your current weapons at the Monastery.
