How to Get the Fisch Lucid Rod
To obtain the Lucid Rod, you need to visit the Crafting Anvil in the Ancient Archives. To craft this fishing rod, you need to reach at least level 50.
The items you need to craft the Lucid Rod are:
- 1 Lucid Reel
- Pick up the side quest from Tessael in The Sanctum within the Cultist Lair and complete it
- Requirement: Catch a Cathulid or Cathulith with the Cursed Touch mutation
- 1 Lunar Thread
- 0.1% chance to catch in any location during a Moonlit Mirage server event
- 3% chance from Treasure Chests
- Costs 7.5 million from the Daily Shop (0.63% chance of being in stock)
- 2.38% chance from Fallen Stars
- 0.1% chance from your Aquarium
- Increase your chances by using the Rod of the Eternal King, the Spiritbinder, or the Rod of the Forgotten Fang
- 1 Cursed Touch Scrap Metal
- Catch Scrap Metal from The Depths, including Crystal Cove (it has a preference for the daytime)
- For the Cursed Touch mutation, you need to use the Great Dreamer’s Rod, which grants a 50% chance of applying the mutation to your catches
- 80K in-game coins
Why Do You Need the Lucid Rod?
The Lucid Rod has a passive ability which increases your chances of getting Lucid catches by 20%. If the weather is Clear, this chance increases to 30%. This is the only way of getting the Lucid mutation!
The Lucid mutation is a requirement when obtaining the Dreambreaker Rod. The NPC, The Restless One, has a variety of quests that ask for Lucid items/catches.
