By collecting Absolvement Crystals, you can unlock new skills for your character! There are lots of skills to obtain in Absolvement. We have an Absolvement Skills Tier List, which ranks the rarest skills from best to worst.
How do Crystals work?
When you have Crystals in your inventory, you can use them to unlock new skill cards. The skill you get matches the rarity and element of the Crystal! However, you can increase or decrease the rarity of the Crystal by doing one of two things.
You can do this by combining three of the same Crystals, as long as they have the same rarity and element. The rarity level increases once.
To decrease the rarity of a Crystal, you can crush it to obtain three of the same Crystals, but they’ll be one rarity level lower than the original.
To collect Crystals, you either need to purchase them from a Vendor or obtain them when opening treasure chests. The price of Crystals as sold by Vendor NPCs differs depending on the rarity of the Crystal itself. Vendors have a 12.5% chance of selling them, Breakables have a 15% chance to drop them, and they have a 20% chance of appearing in chests.
How much do Crystals cost from a Vendor?
There’s also the Delusion Love Trader. By speaking with this NPC, you can trade in Crystals to get different ones in return. You need three of the same Crystal to exchange for another, which will match the rarity of said Crystals, but you can choose the new Element.
Each rarity determines the type of Crystal. All Crystals feature one of the Elements that you can utilise in Absolvement.
