Is it worth venturing to Castaway Cliffs?
The only way to get the Rainbow Cluster fishing rod is by waiting for the Rainbow server event. This event has a 0.6% chance of spawning after the Rain weather event.
However, a player can obtain and use the Rainbow Totem item to activate the server event themselves. To get the Rainbow Totem, you must complete Angler quests. The Rainbow Totem has a 3.20% chance of dropping as a reward!
Whilst the Rainbow event is active, you must head to Castaway Cliffs. Go to the Innkeeper’s house and make your way to the left to find a hole blocked by wooden planks. You can find the Rainbow Cluster rod here! It costs 250K in-game coins.
What are the stats for the Rainbow Cluster fishing rod? With a high Luck stat and a decent Lure Speed, it’s nothing to argue with. However, I’d have liked the rod to have a higher Maximum Weight.
When using the Rainbow Cluster fishing rod, you have a 20% chance of catching fish with the Rainbow Cluster mutation. This rod automatically comes with a 50% Progress Speed buff.
If you use the Rainbow Cluster rod during the Rainbow server event, this chance increases to 35%! There’s also a general 5% chance boost of catching a Rainbow Cluster fish when the Rainbow event is active, too. The Rainbow Cluster mutation increases the selling value of the fish by 8x.
