The Arcadia Star System has a lot of hidden secrets and rewards for players to discover in The Outer Worlds 2. Exploration plays a significant role in finding unique items for survival and combat. One of them is the Thunderstruck, a Legendary Two-Handed Melee Weapon. It has a high base damage and a unique projectile attack that shocks foes. In this guide, we will tell you how to get the Thunderstruck, a Legendary Two-Handed Melee Weapon in The Outer Worlds 2.
The Thunderstruck is located on the control panel on the balcony of Skycutter A102 Deck 7. If you make your way up to the balcony of Deck 7, you will see the Thunderstruck wedged on the Control Panel.
The Skycutter A102 is one of the main locations on Paradise Island, the first planet that players will visit in the game. It is located in the northwest of Paradise Island. To make your way to the Skycutter A102, you will have to go through the Bridge of the Reverent or cross through the Zyranium path using the Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus. However, you would have to complete the Above and Beyond Repair quest for Officer Kaur to get the deflection apparatus.
After reaching the Skycutter A102 location, make your way to the top of the tower, specifically on Deck 7. Once there, you will spot the Control Panel with the Thunderstruck weapon wedged into it. The game does give you the option to take it, but if you interact with it, you will take shock damage.
You will have to find a way to disable or adjust the electricity using the distribution controls. The simple way to do it is to get the Control Panel Schematics. You can find them on Warden Engineer Hwan, the dead body beside the control panel on the balcony. Loot the dead body to pick up the control panel schematics.
Now, go to the end of the balcony and interact with the console. Use the Control Panel Schematics to adjust the electricity and send the power surge to Vox Relay. It will distribute the electricity, making the control panel safe to touch. Once done, go back to the control panel and take the Thunderstruck.
The Thunderstruck Legendary Two-Handed melee weapon comes with two weapon mod slots. One of the slots is pre-installed with Crash of Thunder. It is a unique mod that makes the weapon shoot projectiles on Heavy Attacks. The projectile deals damage and inflicts shock on enemies. The second mod slot is for the Grip. You can add any Grip Mod on the Thunderstruck for more bonus damage or effects.
