What is the Fisch Yin Yang rod, and why is it also called the Secret Tree rod? There are lots of novel fishing rods in Fisch! One of these is the Fisch Electric Guitar rod, which is… unique to say the least.
Despite being called the Yin Yang fishing rod, it’s also known as the Secret Tree rod. This is because, in appearance, it looks exactly like a large tree with leaves. Plus, one of its passives definitely lives up to the rod’s name, but I’ll explain that in further detail later in this guide.
Like with many other new rods, the Yin Yang fishing rod is only available for developers. Though there’s a chance any player can get one if a developer gives them away either in an online giveaway or they’re on the same server as you. You never know, you might take part in an admin-only event where all developer rods are unlocked for the duration!
While it’s a novel fishing rod, and its stats are pretty decent, there are plenty of obtainable rods available in the game.
While it looks funny and is certainly an interesting choice, do its stats live up to its novelty?
When using the Yin Yang rod, also known as the Secret Tree rod, you have a chance of catching a fish with the Mother Nature mutation. If a fish has this specific mutation, its value increases by 3x. However, there’s also a chance of getting a different mutation! That is the Brown Wood mutation, which, like the Mother Nature mutation, increases the selling value by 3x.
While it’s not exactly a passive ability, you plant a tree each time you successfully catch a fish. These trees spawn around you, however, they despawn once you change your fishing rod.
