The Party on the Waves quest has a lot of players stumped. Not to worry, we can help with our guide!
During the Party on the Waves quest, you’ll unlock the objective to ‘Connect the Dots and Guess’. To ‘Connect the Dots, ‘ you need to press the ‘0’ key on your keyboard to view any ongoing cases. For this one, it’s the ‘Mystery on the Cruise Ship’ case.
As you speak to guests on the cruise ship, you gather clues in relation to the mystery case. Upon pressing the ‘0’ key on your keyboard to view cases, select ‘Mystery on the Cruise Ship’ tab and then ‘Analyze’. This opens the next screen, which features all of the clues you’ve unlocked by speaking with those on the cruise ship.
On the ‘Analyze’ screen, you can view ‘Collected Info’, which are the clues you gathered, and ‘Reasoning’, which may or may not have any writing depending on the information you found. At the bottom right of this page, there is the ‘Conclusion’ section.
If you wish to do so, you can select the ‘Skip’ button. The game then asks you to confirm that you want to skip this step so that you can conclude straight away. After this, the ‘Reasoning’ section is filled out with information that helps to solve the case.
However, the ‘Conclusion’ section still raises questions about the true culprit. It points towards the file that Kakater has, which may contain the full conclusion to the Mystery on the Cruise Ship. Once you conclude the notebook, you can speak with Tina to continue the quest. When it comes to the Night Falcon Grev, once you begin talking with him, make sure to bring up the relevant clues.
