Networking: Patch Update is a Friendship Quest for the Gardener in Palia. It is the final quest of the new series of friendship quests for the Gardener. It was recently added with the new Fall Fantasy: Of Barns and Briars update. In this guide, we will walk you through the Networking: Patch Update quest in Palia.

How to Complete the Networking: Patch Update Quest in Palia

Starting the Quest

The Networking: Patch Update quest becomes available upon reaching Friendship Level 4 with the Gardener and completing the Networking: Connection Error quest. Moreover, you must complete the Temple of the Roots main questline to unlock the Gardener character. After that, speak to the Gardener once every in-game day to increase your friendship level. Upon reaching Friendship Level 4 with the Gardener, Zeki will visit you at the housing plot. Speak with Zeki to initiate the Networking: Patch Update quest.

Talk to Gardener, Einar, and Zeki

After starting the quest, interact with the Gardener’s Hub to speak with the Gardener. After that, leave the housing plot and open the map to find Einar. Go to Einar and speak with him. Once done, go back to Zeki and tell him about the Gardener and Einar’s thoughts on the remote device.

Gather materials for Zeki

After speaking with Zeki, he will ask you to gather the following materials to make the device.

• 3x Platinum Bar: Craft it in a smelter using 5x Platinum Ore for each bar.
• 5x Glass Pane: Craft it in a Glass Furnace using 10x Stone for each pane. Alternatively, you can purchase the Glass Panes from the Blacksmith for 50 Gold each.
• 1x Will-o-wisp Rockhopper: An epic bug that spawns in the swamps and the forests of the Elderwood map zone.

Once you have all the materials, go back to Zeki and speak with him.

Go back to the plot to check on the Gardener

After speaking with Zeki, go back to your housing plot. Here, you will find Einar. Speak with Einar to have a conversation with him, Zeki, and the Gardener. Now, go through the dialogues to conclude the quest.

Rewards

Completing the Networking: Patch Update quest in Palia gives the Gardener Remote Override as a reward.
