Finishing the Job is the new main quest in Schedule 1, added with the recent Cartel update. It is an end-game quest and only triggers if you are hostile to the Benzies’ family. This quest will allow players to get rid of the Benzies’ family for good and also unlock the option to purchase Hyland Manor as a property. In this guide, we will walk you through the Finishing the Job quest in Schedule 1.
To initiate the “Finishing the Job” quest, players must unlock all the regions of Hyland Point and have a good reputation in each one. Moreover, the players must be hostile to the Benzies’ family. A player will meet with the Benzies’ family early in the game upon unlocking the Westville region. Here, the player will get the option to either work with the cartel or not. If they disagree, the cartel will become enemies and will interrupt the player’s everyday business in Hyland Point. As players unlock all the regions, the Finishing the Job quest will start automatically.
Once the quest starts, the first thing you need to do is speak with Uncle Nelson. Go to any payphone and interact with it to speak with Uncle Nelson.
After speaking with Uncle Nelson, go to the Chemical Plant and speak with Billy. Ask him if he can get any explosives for you. He will tell you to bring 20 grams of the white stuff for an RDX. Now, prepare the white stuff (cocaine) and bring it to Billy to get the RDX.
Now, find Sam and speak to him about digging the tunnel under the Hyland Manor. He will tell you that this kind of work will require some investment. Pay Sam $10,000 and he will agree to work. He will complete the tunnel in a day. You can wait or sleep until the next day for the tunnel to be completed.
Now, wait for the night and go to the Warehouse to speak with Stan. Speak to Stan about turning the RDX into explosives. He will agree to wire you up with the explosives only if you take care of the thief at the Docks.
Leave the Warehouse and go to the Docks. The person you are looking for will be wearing a black outfit over a blue t-shirt and a black beanie. Look around the docks area for the person and attack him with any weapon. Use the melee weapon to be stealthy, as it won’t alert the cops to the location. After stunning the thief, pick up his body and throw it into the water to kill him.
After dealing with the thief, go back to the warehouse and speak with Stan. Tell him that you have dealt with the thief. Hand over the RDX to Stan, and he will give you a bomb with a 45-second timer.
The entrance to the tunnel is close to the Barn property. Go towards the Hyland Manor from the Barn property, and you will come to the entrance of the tunnel. Enter the tunnel and go to its end to plant the bomb. After planting the bomb, leave the tunnel and watch the Hyland Manor go up in flames.
As the Hyland Manor explodes, the Benzies’ Family status will update to “Defeated”. It will also conclude the Finishing the Job quest.
Completing the Finishing the Job quest in Schedule 1 will give you the following rewards.
