Melee Weapons
Close-range weapons.
Chainsaw
The Chainsaw can cut down trees and attack enemies.

- You can get the Chainsaw by opening Ruby Chests and via the Workshop
Spear
The Spear is the next main upgrade from the Axe. As the Axe can be used for both chopping trees down and attacking enemies, the Spear is a better option when it comes to dealing damage.
- How to obtain:
- You can get the Spear from Good Chests and the Pelt Trader
- It must be the second trade of Wolf Pelts from the Pelt Trader
- The Good Chest is a little rarer when compared to the Common Chest
Katana
The Katana is more or less the same weapon as the Spear, but it visually looks different for its specific class.
- How to obtain:
- You get the Katana weapon when you unlock the Assassin class
Morningstar
The Morningstar is the best melee weapon in 99 Nights in the Forest due to its high damage output.
- How to obtain:
- You can get the Morningstar from Gold Chests
- Gold Chests are a little rarer when compared to Legendary Chests
Old Axe
The base axe that all players start the game with. It can chop trees and deal damage to enemies!
Good Axe
The Good Axe is an upgrade from the Old Axe.
- How to obtain:
- You can get the Good Axe from the Pelt Trader, Chests, and by unlocking the Lumberjack class
- You must trade a Bunny Foot with the Pelt Trader
Strong Axe
The Strong Axe is an upgrade from the Good Axe.
- How to obtain:
- You can get the Strong Axe from the Pelt Trader and by opening Gold Chests

Tactical Shotgun
The Tactical Shotgun works with Shotgun Ammo and can hold 4 rounds.
- How to obtain:
- You can get the Tactical Shotgun by opening Ruby Chests and via the Workshop

Revolver
The Revolver works with Revolver Ammo and can hold 6 rounds.
- How to obtain:
- You can get the Revolver by trading with the Pelt Trader, opening Good Chests, or by unlocking the Ranger class
- It must be the third trade of Wolf Pelts from the Pelt Trader
- The Good Chest is a little rarer when compared to the Common Chest
Kunai
The Kunai may look like a melee weapon, but you can throw it! When you first obtain the Kunai, you have 120 blades. However, if you use them all, the item disappears from your inventory.
- How to obtain:
- You can get Kunai by opening Ruby Chests and by unlocking the Assassin class
- Ruby Chests are the second rarest type in the game
Rifle
The Rifle works with Rifle Ammo and can hold 1 round per reload.
- How to obtain:
- You can get the Rifle by opening Legendary and Gold Chests and trading with the Pelt Trader
- Must trade Alpha Wolf Pelts with the Pelt Trader
