    Grow a Garden Primal Egg Obtainment

    There are two ways to obtain the Primal Egg as of its release during Update 1.14.0, these include:

    • Pet Trading with Graham
      • By exchanging pets with Graham, there’s a chance he will reward you with a Primal Egg (between 1-6), depending on the rarity and age of the pet you offered.
    • Crafting
      • After reaching the 3rd evolution of the DNA Machine by handing in prehistoric plants to the dinosaur next to it, you can craft the Primal Egg using 1x Dinosaur Egg, 1x Bone Blossom, and 5,500,000 Sheckles. Once input, it takes 30 minutes to complete crafting.

    When placed in a garden, the Primal Egg takes 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch.

    Primal Egg Pets

    Fun fact: all pets in the Primal Egg are Legendary rarity or higher. This is a testament to their finicky obtainment and proof that they’re all decent contenders for your companionship around your garden.

    • Parasaurolophus
      • Rarity: Legendary
      • Hatch chance: 34%
      • Crowbar Head [Ability]: Occasionaly approaches the cosmetic crate with the longest opening time and reduces its opening time.
    • Iguanodon
      • Rarity: Legendary
      • Hatch Chance: 32.5%
      • Dino Head [Ability]: Grants more EXP per second to all active Prehistoric-themed pets.
    • Pachycephalosaurus
      • Rarity: Legendary
      • Hatch Chance: 28%
      • Crafty Dome [Ability]: Has a 6% chance to duplicate any crafted items.
    • Dilophosaurus
      • Rarity: Mythical
      • Hatch Chance: 3%
      • Frilled Reptile [Ability]: Every ~14 minutes, this pet opens its frills and spits venom, which spreads to 3 other pets, advancing their ability cooldown by 40 seconds, or granting approximately 600 EXP.
    • Ankylosaurus
      • Rarity: Mythical
      • Hatch Chance: 1%
      • Armoured Defender [Ability]: When a player steals a fruit from your garden, there’s a chance for this pet to duplicate the stolen fruit and gift it back to its owner.
    • Spinosaurus
      • Rarity: Divine
      • Hatch Chance: 0.5%
      • Food Chain [Ability]: Every ~20 minutes, this pet devours a random mutation from 3 fruits within its owner’s garden and then roars to spread it. The Spinosaurus will prioritise applying mutations to favourited plants.
