Chimera Skewer is one of the 5-star Entrée Meals added with the Storybook Vale expansion. Players can make this meal for themselves to restore energy or gift it to villagers to increase their Friendship Level. However, this recipe is exclusive to the owners of the expansion. This guide will help you make a Chimera Skewer in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Players can make a Chimera Skewer entrée meal with the following ingredients.
Hippocampus is a new seafood ingredient exclusive to the Storybook Vale world. You can find and catch a Hippocampus in the White Ripples (bubbles) in the Mythopia biome. Flying Fish is a fish that you can get by fishing in the open water (no bubbles) in the Mythopia (Storybook Vale) biome. Using an elixir or potion on the fishing rod will increase the chances of catching the Flying Fish. For the final fish, you can use any fish. However, if you are pursuing “the Corvid Companion” quest, then you have to use the Stygian Mudskipper fish for the recipe.
Trumpet Snail is a seafood ingredient that spawns on the ground in The Bind biome. Interact with the Trumpet Snail to forage it and store it in your inventory. However, it will take some time for them to spawn again. Brussels Sprout is a vegetable that grows on Brussels Sprout Bushes. You can find the Brussels Sprout Bushes only in the Everafter biome. Each harvest will give you 4 Brussels Sprouts, and it takes 30 minutes for them to regrow.
After gathering all the ingredients for the Chimera Skewer, go to any Cooking Station to start making it. Go to any cooking station in the Valley/Eternity Isle and interact with it. After that, put the ingredients into the Cooking Pot individually and then select the “Start Cooking” option to cook the Chimera Skewer Entree Meal. It will cost 1 Coal Ore to finish cooking the Chimera Skewer. Upon making the Chimera Skewer for the first time, you will learn the recipe. You will be able to autofill the ingredients the next time you make Chimera Skewer.
The Chimera Skewer meal is mainly required during the Corvid Companion quest for Maleficent. Other than that, players can choose to eat the Chimera Skewer to restore 2,720 Energy. Moreover, they can gift it to another villager to increase their Friendship Level. Lastly, they can sell it to Goofy for 1,560 Star Coins.
