2025 Open Championship TV schedule: How to watch the Open on TV

The 2025 Open Championship starts this week at iconic host course Royal Portrush. If you’re hoping to watch the action on TV, we’ve got you covered. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the Open Championship on TV.

Where to watch the Open on TV

Typically at majors, early week TV coverage is provided by a cable channel, with a broadcast network picking up the weekend rounds. Not so at the 2025 Open Championship.

Instead, NBC will offer exclusive TV broadcasts of all four rounds for viewers in the U.S. NBC is scheduled to provide over 11 hours of TV coverage on both Thursday and Friday for the first and second rounds.

Once the action switches to the weekend, the TV coverage isn’t going anywhere. NBC kicks off their lengthy Round 3 coverage at 5 a.m. ET on Saturday. For the final round on Sunday, NBC will begin their coverage at 4 a.m. ET.

But if you want to watch early coverage on Thursday or Friday, you’ll have to watch on Peacock. Additionally, Peacock will provide featured group coverage and a Par-3 Channel all week long, along with simulcasts of Sky Sports’ coverage on Saturday and Sunday.
