The Tales That Bind is the final main story quest for the Storybook Vale expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is the fourth and final quest in a chain of four quests that allow players to unlock Aurora as a villager. In this guide, we will walk you through the Tales That Bind quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
The Tales That Bind quest begins automatically by completing the Ink-Stained World quest. At the end of the Ink-Stained World quest, players will find Aurora, but before they can leave with Aurora, they will learn the truth about the Lorekeeper. The Lorekeeper will put the players and Aurora in the Unwritten Realms, which will initiate the Tales That Bind quest.
As the quest begins, speak with Aurora near the portal. After speaking with her, interact with the portal to go further into the Unwritten Realms. Head up the staircase to find the Lorekeeper and talk to her.
After speaking with the Lorekeeper, she will disappear and leave behind some snippets. Equip the Royal Net tool and catch all three snippets in the area. Once done, speak with Aurora and go through the dialogues.
Interact with the Portal to go further into the Unwritten Realms and go up the staircase. Continue along the path to find the Lorekeeper. Speak to her and she will disappear again, leaving some more snippets behind. Equip the Royal Net and catch all three snippets in the area.
After catching all three Frog Snippets, interact with the portal to go to the next area. Continue along the path to find the Lorekeeper. Speak with her and she will disappear again, leaving some more snippets behind. This time, it will be the Demon Snippets. Equip the Royal Net and catch both Demon Snippets in the area. Once done, interact with the portal to go to the next area. Go down the staircase and continue along the path to find the Lorekeeper.
Speak with the Lorekeeper and complete the Story of Dreamlight Valley puzzle. Unlock the story using the snippets you have caught. Start with placing the corner and edges pieces first, and then work your way to the middle. As you solve the puzzle, you will teleport back to the Vale. Now, speak with the Lorekeeper, and the final cutscene will begin along with the credits. After the cutscene and the credits, speak to the Lorekeeper again.
After speaking with the Lorekeeper, go into the Furniture Mode and place Aurora’s House anywhere in the Vale. Once done, go and interact with Scrooge’s signboard to build the house. It will cost you 5,000 Star Coins to build Aurora’s House.
Upon building Aurora’s House in the Vale, Princess Aurora will finally come back to the Storybook Vale. Take a picture with her to welcome her back, and then speak with her. After speaking with Princess Aurora, the Tales That Bind quest will conclude.
Completing the Tales That Bind quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley unlocks Aurora as a villager.
