Grow a Garden Foil Method

The Foil Method is another variant of the Sprinkler Method, however, it involves utilising a Lightning Rod and Moon Cat pets. As per the Sprinkler Method, you need one of each, including a Basic Sprinkler, a Godly Sprinkler, an Advanced Sprinkler, and a Master Sprinkler.

How to Use the Foil Method

Follow these steps to follow the Foil Method!

1. Place a Lightning Rod in your garden (you can skip the Lightning Rod step, if you wish to do so, as it is not important)
2. Plant your seeds close to the Lightning Rod
3. Place a Master Sprinkler so that the AoE affects the planted seeds
4. Next, place the Godly Sprinkler on top of the Master Sprinkler
5. After that, place the Advanced Sprinkler on top
6. Last but not least, the Basic Sprinkler must then be placed on top, too
7. Equip your garden with as many Moon Cats as possible (you can unlock additional pet slots by exchanging your spare copies of pets)

Getting the Correct Gear and Pets

Here’s how to get the required Gear and Pets for the Foil Method.

Sprinklers

To take part in the Foil Method, and as mentioned above, you first need to collect one of each Sprinkler type. All Sprinklers are purchasable from the Gear Shop, though they are not always in stock. The Basic Sprinker costs 25K Sheckles and is Rare, the Advanced Sprinkler costs 50K Sheckles and is Legendary, the Godly Sprinkler costs 120K Sheckles and is Mythical, and lastly, the Master Sprinkler costs 10 million Sheckles and is Divine.

Lightning Rod

The Lightning Rod is a potential stock item in the Gear Shop and costs a total of 1 million Sheckles. As stated above, it’s not a must-use item during the Foil Method, but players tend to use it alongside the Moon Cats and Sprinklers as it boosts the selling value of your crops by 100x thanks to the Shocked mutation.

Moon Cats

Unfortunately, Moon Cats are no longer available, at least for now. They were part of the Night Event and were available to purchase from the Twilight Shop. However, there’s still a chance for you to get Moon Cats through trading. The return of the Night Event is also confirmed, but we do not know if this includes the Twilight Shop, too.

Unlike the optional Lightning Rod, the Moon Cat pet is a necessity for the Foil Method. Moon Cats increase the size of nearby crops by 1.5x, boosting their selling value, which goes hand in hand with the standard Sprinkler Method.
