What’s this Grow a Garden Black Hole event all about, and how do you get the Voidtouched mutation from it? This event is another example of one of the admin-only secret events, which we have a guide on, detailing all of the others in Grow a Garden!
The mysterious Black Hole event, which applies a super sought-after mutation to your crops! Even though it was added to the game before Bizzy Bees event, it has nothing to do with it.
As of right now, the Black Hole event only spawns when an admin activates it. First taking place in the game just before the Bizzy Bees event dropped, players who were online at the time got to experience the Black Hole event whilst the admins were messing around with commands.
This means, currently, the only way to experience this event is by being online at the right time.
The Black Hole event is a server event that turns the entire skybox dark blue and purple with a giant black hole in the centre. Due to this being a Black Hole, zero gravity activates, allowing all players to jump higher than usual.
This makes it easier for you to harvest taller crops, though you can get this passive ability by placing the Brown Mouse in your garden, too. Additionally, the Black Hole event randomly applies the Voidtouched mutation to your crops.
The Voidtouched mutation currently offers the highest selling value multiplier in Grow a Garden at 135x. If a crop has this mutation, small purple particles float around the plant/fruit.
Because of the high selling value multiplier, this mutation is quite sought-after, though it is practically impossible to obtain unless an admin decides to spawn the Black Hole event at random.
