Platy-Piece of the Puzzle is a new guide/discovery quest in Palia. Elouisa gives this quest to players and talks about a mysterious being known as Platypus. She asks the players to gather evidence about the creature to see if it is real or a prank. This guide will walk you through the Platy-Piece of the Puzzle quest in Palia.
Players can initiate the Platy-Piece of the Puzzle quest by speaking with Elouisa at the Central Stables. She visits the Central Stables only after completing the Pieces of the Past quest. Speaking to Elouisa will give you a Field Journal about the Life of the Platypus, which starts the quest.
After initiating the quest, you must read it to get hints about the locations of possible Platypus’s evidence. Read all four pages to get an understanding of where to look for the evidence. Once done, speak with Caleri. Return her the book and begin your search for evidence of the Platypus.
You need to find four evidence, each one at a certain dig spot in the Elderwood map zone. Below, you can find the exact dig spot for each evidence.
The first evidence location is on the western edge of the Mauvais Way location. Make your way to the western ground and go towards the water. Here, you will see a sparkling digging spot. Interact with it to find the Platypus Fossil.
The second evidence location is in the Red Blossom Cave area. Go to the southern pond in the cavern area to find a sparkling digging spot. Interact with it to find the Platypus Fossil.
The third evidence location is just outside the eastern entrance to the Red Blossom Cave area. Go to the pond outside the entrance, and you will see the digging spot in the water. Interact with it to find the Platypus Fossil.
The fourth evidence location is on a small island southeast of the Deep Woods area. Make your way to the island and go to its southern edge to find the digging spot. Interact with it to find the final Platypus Fossil.
After gathering all fossils of the Platypus, go back to Elouisa. Open the map to see if she is in Elderwood or back in Kilima Valley. Speak with Elouisa and go through the dialogues to conclude the Platy-Piece of the Puzzle quest.
Completing the Platy-Piece of the Puzzle quest in Palia will give Elouisa’s Moondial item as a reward.
