Pro breaks his own major record after hitting epic 5-wood

Si Woo Kim has been here before, making history on par-3s at major golf tournaments. Like last year, at the 2024 Open Championship, when Kim aced the 238-yard par-3 17th hole at Royal Troon during the third round. That set a record as the longest hole-in-one in major history.

Then on Friday, at the 2025 PGA Championship? Kim broke it again.

Playing the 252-yard par-3 6th hole at Quail Hollow Club, Kim grabbed a 5-wood, hit a fade into the center of the green and watched his ball land, bounce and roll out, finally dropping into the cup for an ace and the record for longest hole-in-one at a major (again).

He tossed his club into the air and ran off the tee box screaming.
