The Answering the Call quest is one of the new main quests in Palia. It begins automatically after updating the client to the latest patch (0.191). After a brief cutscene of seeing strange lights in the Sky, you will see Einar at the Housing Plot. This guide will walk you through the Answering the Call quest in Palia.
Once you have spawned in your Housing Plot, speak with Einar to start pursuing the Answering the Call quest. You can make Answering the Call your active quest in the quest log. After speaking with Einar, the quest will update, requiring you to speak with Subira at the Night Sky Temple. Moreover, you can head to the Temple of the Roots to speak with the Gardener for extra dialogue.
Go to the Night Sky Temple and speak with Subira. She will mention the opening of a new space in the Night Sky Temple, and tells you to meet her inside. Now, go to the new pathway inside the Night Sky Temple and speak with her again. The path ahead will be blocked. The quest will update and require you to find another way around.
Getting to the other side is easy, but you have to return back to the path to find the seven recordings. So, we will tell you exactly where to find the recordings and get to the other side simultaneously. For the first recording, go to the right side and break the damaged wall using the pickaxe. You will find the first recording inside. After picking up the recording, go out and head to the other side to find a cracked wall beside a vase. Break the wall using the pickaxe and go inside. Look to the left side and you will find the second recording.
Now, continue ahead along the path until you come across another cracked wall on the left side. Break the wall and go inside to pick up the third record. Now, go out and climb the grate at the end of the path. Jump across the gap and go ahead to find the fourth record. Cross the bridge ahead and break the floor using the pickaxe. Head down and you will see multiple damaged walls. First, break the wall on the left side to find the fifth record.
Go out of the room and break the third wall on the left side to find the sixth record. Now, go out and break the fourth wall on the right side to find the seventh record. After collecting all seven records, break the third wall on the right side to find a damaged floor. Break the floor using the pickaxe and jump down.
Now, follow the path to reach a grate and climb up. Break the wall ahead to make it to the other side. Speak with Subira and go through the dialogues.
Head up the staircase and interact with the console. The console will ask for a login and mention that the password is hidden among the seven recordings. If you haven’t collected all seven recordings, you will have to find them and look for the hints of the passwords among them. However, if you don’t want to go back and look for records, here is the password to log in to the console.
You will have to select the correct letter each time to submit the correct password. Otherwise, you will have to start over.
After logging into the Console, select the “Menu” option and then the “User Logs” option. Now, go through all logs to find the first clue as Mirror Protocol. For the second clue, select the “Protocols” option, then select the “Mirror Protocol” option, and then select the “Check Tap Status” option.
Once done, exit the console and speak with Subira to conclude the Answering the Call quest.
