Announced at IGN Fan Fest earlier this week, Vincent Adinolfi and DreadXP’s retro suburban gothic survival horror game Heartworm is set to launch this spring.
A journey through grief and loss, Heartworm features retro-inspired atmospheric environments alongside a haunting original soundtrack.
For fans of survival horror classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, Heartworm pays host to mechanics, controls, and graphics inspired by games from the late 90s. One also has the option to turn some effects off for a slightly more modern experience.
The latest trailer for Heartworm, which can be seen below, provides a look at some of this title’s gameplay, including the camera-based combat, exploration, and puzzles.
